Shack Sweet Shack

My brother in law Tim and his fiance Leora are going to live in a shack when they wed, which is rather soon, October! A while back at the Etsy Craft Party I freestyled this embroidery, my first ever!

Thought it was a good enough engagement present for these kids. Have heard they love it and are going to hang on their wall in their brand new shack. :)

You learn something new everyday

Last night I learnt embroidery at the Etsy Craft Party. Despite the wind and rain as I was making my way there on my bike wearing a gargabe bag... it was a great night! There were about 50 women (and one man!) learning things skills like sewing, screen printing, embroidery and crochet. I met some lovely people and ate some delicious food too. Unfortunatley I left my pretty blue plate there which was a present from my Grandma :(
I hope there are many more events like this in Mlebourne in the future.
