I found my perfect blue rolly
There is a new feature on Etsy which looks at the shops that you have selected as your favourites... then suggests more stores you will like. 200 a day in fact.
Wow wow wow wow wow
This was on one of the shops suggested to me: Chasm Necklace - AAA Grade Labradorite Briolette on Oxidized Sterling Silver by PoleStar
My perfect blue rolly. It reminds me of an episode of Fraggle Rock where the Fraggles find 'rollies'(pretty rocks) and there is one perfect blue 'rolly'.

Hey There Doll Face
I stumbled across these gorgeous Tonner Dolls and was blown away. It is an American company which has been around since 1908 and they make some truly beautiful dolls with absolutely amazing outfits too. Here are some of my favourites.

All my favourites just happened to have red hair. There are dozens of collections, from new fashion to old Hollywood stars and even Harry Potter dolls. With prices around $200, I don't think I'll be buying one any time soon!

Phobia Town
I love pictures, toys, photos, ornaments, jewellery and even clothing that features cute foxes. I have even drawn a baby fox on old sheet music and made Fimo foxes.
But I am scared to death of wild foxes and fox furs with face and claws still attached. Full blown crying, screaming, trouble breathing panic attack steez. Just ask my husband and brother in law.
Seeing this print by liseljane on Etsy's 'Keeping it Weird' blog reminded me of this fact! I guess everyone has their weaknesses!
What's your phobia?

1, 2, 3 Catto
The other day I bought my Grandma a porcelain cat statue... it is so beautiful!
It got me thinking that I should attempt to make polymer clay cats again.
I tried doing just their faces but it always turned out looking like koalas or dogs! So Sean pointed at a drawing I'd done a few months ago and suggested I make cats like that. So here is the outcome.

Boris
The week that was last week. Just some wonderful week in May.
I had consistently black finger nails from some new friends I was making. Some owls in the shape of pineapples and a custom made bear.
Not just any bear either, a black bear with a good Russian name, Boris.
Pineapple owls modelling my new sterling silver chains.
These little guys as well as some of my other creations should be available in Cafe Lulu at the Mornington Antique Centre in a weeks time. It's all very exciting! I'd like to thanks Megan from Creatures of the Greenwood for her excellent business advice. :)

Tiny Parcels
A parcel brightens up ones day, does it not?
Today when I got home from work I found a small package from my friends at frankie magazine. I have been on their email list for about a year and entered into various competitions along the way. Well it would seem I won a sweet little cross stitch brooch by Polka Dot Rabbit.
Hooray for free stuff!

Sunday Saver: Fitzroy
Yesterday Sean purchased our Sunday Saver Metcards and we were set!
It was off to Fitzroy with us for some wanderings.
Favourite thing I saw was this store... Cottage Industry at 57 Gertrude Street.

Favourite thing I saw was this store... Cottage Industry at 57 Gertrude Street.
Alas it wasn't open. The cat sitting in the window and had no problem with us pressing our faces against the window to look at the wonderful feast of primarily fabric based products.
There was even a doiley covered tree on the nature strip! Luckily for our wallets many of the boutiques were closed. We did manage to score a couple of bargains at the Alannah Hill/Dangerfield outlet. Afterwards we walked the back streets to the Napier Hotel where we gourged ourselves on chicken while watching a Jewish wedding at the beautiful town hall across the road.
We will no doubt be visiting this part of the world again soon.
