New Creations - Market Ready

This Sunday heralds my first stall at The Rose St artists market in Fitzroy. It is open from 11am - 5pm... just off Brunswick Street. There are plenty of artists and designers to check out! I find the first time at a new market can be daunting and I am lucky enough to have my sister help me set up the stall. She has a blog too... clever cookie. www.ihavetworooms.blogspot.com.

Above are some new creations I have been working on in preparation for the market! Most of the market is undercover, but lets still hope for blue skies!

kikki. oKay!

Yesterday I journeyed to the city in the middle of my working day. There was a $500 gift voucher to be spent you see. It was a gift to our company from one of our suppliers. But what can one buy for an office at Melboune Central? Stationary of course! So I carefully selected gifts for each person in the office from kikki.K. and Smiggle and put it on their desk last night. Everyone got a great surprise in the morning. I even got something for myself (of course). This diary. I love you. Please. Make me happy all the days of next year with your different designs for each week and polar bear/circus elephant/sunshine stickers for special occasions.

New Slang

Gold teeth and a curse for this town were all in my mouth. Only, i don't know how they got out, dear. Turn me back into the pet that i was when we met. I was happier then with no mind-set. And if you'd 'a took to me like A gull takes to the wind. Well, i'd 'a jumped from my tree And i'd a danced like the king of the eyesores And the rest of our lives would 'a fared well. New slang when you notice the stripes, the dirt in your fries. Hope it's right when you die, old and bony. Dawn breaks like a bull through the hall, Never should have called But my head's to the wall and i'm lonely. And if you'd 'a took to me like A gull takes to the wind. Well, i'd 'a jumped from my tree And i'd a danced like the kind of the eyesores And the rest of our lives would 'a fared well. God speed all the bakers at dawn may they all cut their thumbs, And bleed into their buns 'till they melt away. I'm looking in on the good life i might be doomed never to find. Without a trust or flaming fields am i too dumb to refine? And if you'd 'a took to me like Well i'd a danced like the queen of the eyesores And the rest of our lives would 'a fared well.

Blackbird Market October Review

My stall at the ever cute Blackbird Market on Saturday was a success! I am told the market was not as busy as usual, with some regular stall holders & customers testing out the first Melbourne Finders Keepers market. But there were still plenty of gorgeous wares! I bought a very very cute vintage dress for only $10. I also purchased a sweet little cushion from poppy & ted. Why not visit poppy and ted's plush little store here?

I am looking forward to my next stall at Blackbird Market on Novemeber 13th and hope to see you there!

Modish Market

Sunny Saturday just gone, my best friend Lauren and I went for some lovely strolls.
We caught the Modish Market inside the stunning Malvern Town Hall.
I purchased one pendant from the lovely Sharee from Run Wild Horses. It was only $5, and features a page from an antique childrens book! I love the little fable about a Herron on the pendant.
